Singer/songwriter, producer and session musician, Brian Alex’ quirky personality and unique pop-savvy style have been a significant and colorful piece of Martha's Vineyard Island's World-Rock act "Entrain" for twenty five years, and won him a Boston Music Award for “Best Live Show”.
His most recent release, "Reason To Feel Good” featured the single “Lucky Just to Be Alive”, which garnered island radio's acclaimed station WMVY’s #2 song of the year, only behind Adele. “Lucky” is also a consistent play through 2019 on country superstar Kenny Chesney’s XM Satellite “No Shoes Radio”.
Brian Alex's writing is described as sunshine-y and soulful. Merging pop sensibilities with a little rock, bit of soul, and a dash of reggae mixed in. Wrote the theme song for PBS’ New Orleans season of "This Old House”. Written and produced jingles and music for Cabot Stain, Sylvania Light Bulb, and MTV’s Real World.
