3VIBE is an instrumental Funk/Jazz quartet playing original groove music and based in Gloucester, MA. Highly danceable and intensely funky, 3VIBE's influences include John Scofield, Medeski, Martin, and Wood, Lettuce, Soulive, and the Meters. Led by Blue Man Group drummer and Berklee professor James Murphy, the band also includes three members of Gloucester reggae phenomenon Soul Rebel Project: Berklee professor and 20 year veteran of the Boston music scene John Funkhouser on keyboards and Adam Saylor on bass.
